Noise
At sites where noise output is measured, models that fail to achieve the required Noise suppression standard will not be allowed to fly.
We expect all event attendees to make every effort to ensure that models flown at UKCAA events are properly silenced and will not cause a Noise Nuisance.
Events
UKCAA organised or sponsored events will be listed here. Event reports and blogs will be detailed below. Please feel free to offer to host an event! We would be very keen to hear from a club that would be prepared to host a low key competition. In return, we can potentially offer basic tuition and demonstrations for club members.
The site requirements are an unobstructed (no trees/power lines etc) flight line approximately 100-400m from and parallel to a take off strip.
Note: UKCAA also has a Bulletin board and mini forum hosted by the RCM&E Model Flying website. You will need to register on the model flying site if you want to post any messages.
We also have a Facebook page and an active Facebook Group. Please come along and say Hello.
If you would like to host a UKCAA event, please contact
us. This could be a Fly-in, Classic Aerobatic competition or perhaps
you may have some ideas of your own. Please let us know
