If you would like to join the UKCAA, please download the 2022-2023 membership form and return as instructed below. Before you elect to join, please also download and read our constitution. Membership of the UKCAA is subject to agreement to abide by the rules and objectives of the UKCAA as defined in the UKCAA Constitution and subject to amendments that may be published from time to time. All policy documentation will be published here as it becomes available.

BMFA membership is mandatory. UKCAA membership will automatically lapse if BMFA membership lapses for any reason. Proof of BMFA membership will be required at any event organised by the UKCAA. It should be noted that participation at all events will require either a minimum BMFA Fixed Wing 'A' or possibly a 'B' Achievement if the event is deemed to be a public display event. If this is required it will be stated on the event details. Pilots must also display their valid CAA Operator-ID on their model and hold a current CAA Flyer-ID or hold a valid and current BMFA RCC Certificate

2022 Fees

The membership year will run from 1st March 2022 to 28th Feb 2023. There is a nominal £10.00 per annum membership fee which will be primarily used to improve UKCAA resources and provide funds to run our events programme through the year.

As per the membership form, we accept membership subscriptions fees either by Cheque, Bank Transfer or PayPal. If using PayPal, please use 'Friends and Family' rather than 'Pay for a Service'. The charges are very high if the latter option is selected.

  • PayPal – (Please Pay using Friends and Family)
  • Bank Transfer - Sort code : 30-93-94 Account no : 33928060
  • Cheque – Payable to UKCAA

Alternatively, as a last resort, we accept cash at events with a duly completed membership or renewal form (so we can keep track of who has paid). However, please do not send cash through the post.

Duly signed Membership Forms (and remittance or remittance notification if PayPal or Bank Transfer) should be returned to:
